Dear Valued Mytown Storage Customer,

Thank you for your continued business; we really appreciate it. As you know, our stated goal is to provide you with cost effective and community friendly self storage.  We have worked very hard to do that and to keep our rent rates as low as possible. But like most businesses, our costs continue to increase every year.

As a customer you are aware that we have not increased rents in more than two and a half years and  in some locations for more than five years. This letter is to notify you that in order for us to continue to provide you with cost effective self storage we must increase our monthly rental rates.

In accordance with Paragraph 2. RENT and Paragraph 15. NOTICES of our rental agreement we are giving notice of a monthly rent increase of $10 for all unit size rates effective with the March 1, 2018 rent.

Some of our customers pay months in advance. For those customers, when the rate increase goes into effect we will recalculate your monthly rent and send you notice when your account balance reaches zero.

Also, we are making an administrative change to paragraph 3. FEES. We don't like charging the late fee, we simply want customers to pay on time. As a result we are adding the following sentence to paragraph 3. FEES. and this will also be effective March 1, 2018.

"Effective with the third charged $25 late fee, the Occupants monthly unit rental rate will automatically increase an additional $25. This new unit rental rate will then be subject to this paragraph 3. FEES."

We are working very hard to make your storage experience with Mytown Storage the best.

Thanks for storing with Mytown Storage
